SALSA is made possible through the innovative utilization of propriety linked modules which, when integrated with our customer's proprietary applications, are able to produce unique customized message content for electronic delivery to any specified device at any time.

  The Main Modules
The main modules consist of:
  1. A web-based interface for entering client contact, message content, and schedule data
  2. A scheduling engine which collects, stores and retrieves the contact data, matches it to the message content, and transmits it to the intended recipient at the correct time
  3. Various interface modules which formats the data at required for handling by various devices
  4. Account management software which tracks credit balances, calculates charges, updates, invoices customers and, debits payments and credits accounts
  5. Speech conversion software for turning text messages into voice messages
  6. Interactive voice response system for client interface. This allow message recipients to acknowledge receipt of a message or indicate a response to system prompts

Our core technology prepares not just text-based reminder, notification and alerting messages to a variety of mobile devises such as pagers, cellular telephones and personal digital assistants ("PDAs"). Recently, we have introduced interactive voice recording ("IVR") and text-to-speech ("TTS") technology for use by our web-client's own customers. This will benefit customers who require the information contained in text and data-base applications by who may not be able to retrieve text messages for a number of reasons:

  • Anyone who is in transit or otherwise engaged and thereby requiring hands-free functionality.
  • Individuals who do not own internet-enabled devices or who are otherwise unable to access the internet.
  • People suffering from poor eyesite or other physical limitations affecting their ablity to use text only devices.
This combination of computer-based voice synthesis with client data and enterprise requirements holds the potential for every organization which needs to maintain relationships with employees, suppliers, investors, regulators and customers under all conditions. While many large enterprises are able afford access to extremely sophisticated and effective systems, SMEs simply can not afford to acquire the infrastructure to manage their similar, but smaller requirements. SALSA helps to level the playing field by giving SME's the same technical capability without the capital and support costs normally associated.

Our system can accept data from a range of sources including database, manual input or device generated messages. Upon input of the data into special files, it becomes available for conversion and transmission to a client based upon their specific needs. A scheduling engine is constantly moving through an updated list of contact names and numbers, matching messages to the schedules and routing them to the correct system for transmission.

Inherent in the system is the ability to generate multiple messages for different devices at the same time. If, for example, a client wanted to receive both a phone call notifying him of a doctor's appointment as well as an email, this can be readily handled. Alternatively, if a number of people needed to receive an identical notice about a drug recall via different devices, this can also be handled with ease.

Our TTS (Text to Speech) Messaging technology provides the ability to deliver multi-language messages in both US and Canada, allowing enterprises to engage their client in the most efffective manner, and providing another distinguishing factor of the Caliente Advantage!
