HOW IT WORKS
SALSA benefits both enterprises and clients by reducing the cost and increasing the value in contacts for both parties since only clients who have determined a need for specific information will be contacted any time and any place, over a telephone, personal digital assistant, computer, or multiple devices simultaneously.
Here's how it works:
- Enterprises create an account on-line for the purpose of managing the application
- Enterprise client data (i.e. Name, contact method, restrictions or details), concerning the nature of contacts, are entered in one of two ways: Online manually, or in email in batch files
- Enterprises then have the option of entering messages for their clients, along with times of delivery, method (text, speech or both), along with other specific conditions governing transmission of the messages
- Messages are converted to speech files and a transmitted to clients over ordinary fixed or wireless phone lines in voice format, and/or text, as specified
- Client's individual responses are received and re-directed, as per the options and conditions specified by the enterprise at the time of message setup
- Customized web interfaces for interacting with clients can be optionally provided for the enterprise
- Enterprises are subsequently billed for the volume of usage
SALSA has been designed from the outset to interface with additional add-on applications enhancing the core functionality. For example, additional interfaces applications will support:
- Monitoring, tracking and controlling assets remotely by phone
- Making reservations, appointments and bookings, or changes to previously confirmed commitments
- Requesting emergency services, relaying critical data, or changing services
- Performing transactions, registering opinions, soliciting responses
- Scheduling activities, resources and services for individuals or groups
- Automating many everyday functions and activities currently performed manually
- Voting, opinion polling and registrations
