Access to the MedReminder services is via the "On Demand Services" portal located on the TELUS Mobility Website. The system allows users to create and schedule their health and nutrition reminders, and have those messages sent directly to their cell phone via text messaging, on a one-time basis or recurring, as necessary. The system will 'follow' the user as they travel from time zone to time zone, thus assuring scheduled messages are delivered at the correct time. A nominal charge for each message sent, to a small monthly maximum, is applied to the subscriber's phone bill.
